What We Do
1. Ascending Leaders in Color
Imagine a space People of Color can call our own. A space where we can gather and be ourselves without White people’s judgment or discomfort. A space fully to ourselves to be our full authentic selves. A space for us to authentically be. Ascending Leaders in Color is a 9-month peer-led fellowship program in which cohort groups -- comprised of 10 participants each -- thoughtfully discuss carefully curated readings and videos with an expert facilitator to bring forth their full vibrancy and be emboldened to lead with more authenticity, courage, and joy.
2. Story Arc Storytelling
Using the five stages of story arc, we bring organizational storytelling to life! From Exposition to Rising Action to Climax to Falling Action to Resolution, stakeholders will connect with your organization like never before! This carefully crafted story can be used for grant writing, story tours, social media, and much more!
3. Leadership Coaching
As a former executive with a Masters in Human Relations, Frank Velásquez Jr. offers Leadership Coaching primarily to leaders of color. This process is designed to help leaders navigate white dominant spaces while maximizing their authenticity. Utilizing a collaborative approach with clearly defined objectives, the partnership will purposefully help clients strengthen their personal storytelling to lead with a greater level of purpose and self-awareness.
Language Auditing
Utilizing a hands-on, operational approach for effective implementation of justice, diversity, equity, inclusion, and access practices, we review existing policies and procedures to ensure community-centered principles are embedded in an organization's culture.
5. Personalized Training
